Through his own accountancy practice and as company accountant to a number of large businesses, Andrew has worked for clients within an extensive range of industries – including quarrying, automotive parts distribution, specialist construction and confectionary manufacturing – as well as a championship league football team.

Andrew spent ten years as Finance Director for Spinnaker, and a further decade as head of the company's Research and Development department. During this time he managed the whole product life cycle from concept through to end of life product withdrawal, both filing and selling a large number of patents. Andrew lead the development team responsible for designing the iBox©, which won Spinnaker the Queen's Award to Industry in the innovation section 2006.
