Complicity bridges the technology gap

Finding practical, commercial applications for new technology is often the greatest challenge faced by designers and developers. Technology transfer specialist Complicity is helping to bridge the gap between innovation and demand, with exciting results for both inventors and consumers.

The Cornish company is working with a diverse range of designers and innovators from across the world to identify new ways to market cutting edge technology, from sensor holograms to unique communication work practises.

Complicity may be a start up company, but the management behind the business is far from new to the industry. Complicity's founders are John Yandell and Andrew Searle, owners of Spinnaker International and experts responsible for many of the company's technology innovations.

Andrew Searle commented: 'Complicity bridges a major gap in the technology transfer process. Many of the inventors and designers we work with have created hugely innovative products, but finding profitable and marketable uses for these requires very different skills. Complicity has the experience, expertise and contacts to find commercial outlets for all types of technology, however complicated.'
